HFD LAUNCHES MOBILE VACCINATION PODS

The Honolulu Fire Department’s Incident Management Team has been activated to stand up Mobile Vaccination Point of Distribution (POD) at four different locations on one day this weekend to reach our communities and help promote the island-wide vaccination effort.


What: Mobile Vaccination PODs

Saturday, May 29, 2021
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Windward Mall
Where:
Windward Mall – 46-056 Kamehameha Highway
SALT at Our Kakaʻako – 691 Auahi Street
Kaiaka Bay Beach Park – 66-449 Haleiwa Road
Waipio Shopping Center – 94-1040 Waipio Uka Street


Who: These Mobile Vaccination PODs will be open to anyone with appointments or walk-ins. Honolulu fire fighters are providing logistical support, helping with equipment, screening, checking in, line flow, and post-vaccination observation.

The Pfizer and Janssen/J&J vaccines will be administered by healthcare professionals from the following organizations:
– Adventist Health Castle at Windward Mall – Pfizer
– Queen’s Health Systems at SALT Kakaako – Pfizer
– Queen’s Health Systems at Kaiaka Beach Park – Pfizer or J&J
– Foodland Pharmacy at Waipio Shopping Center – Pfizer or J&J
