The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) will celebrate and recognize 11 Fire Captains who were promoted to Battalion Chief during the 2019 Novel Coronavirus pandemic.

For the sake of public safety, all HFD ceremonies were placed on hold until it was safe to resume. This will be the first Promotion Ceremony the media is invited to attend since the pandemic. This event will be live-streamed on the HFD’s Facebook page.

Masks will be required, and safety guidelines shall be followed. Parking is available at and around the Frank F. Fasi Municipal Building.
