UPDATE: The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) Investigator has classified the cause of
the fire that occurred on October 21, 2023 at 94-633 Honowai Street in Waipahu as
accidental. The ignition source was from a discarded cigarette. The total dollar loss is
$45,000 including a damage estimate of $44,000 to the property and $1,000 to the
contents.
