On November 12, 2023, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 5:47
p.m. to assist the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) with a body found in a canal
reported near 1607 Cirton Street the McCully area. Three HFD units, staffed with 11
personnel, responded to this emergency. The first HFD unit arrived on the scene at
5:53 p.m. to investigate. The services of the Emergency Medical Services was requested to assist.

HFD Rescue personnel recovered the body at 6:40 p.m. where custody was turned over
to HPD.

All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries.
