On November 13, 2023, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 1:49
a.m. for an auto extrication incident near 95-1350 Meheula Parkway in Mililani and
responded with five units staffed with 15 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at
1:57 a.m. to find a single-car that struck a tree with one person pinned in the vehicle.

Rescuers de-energized and stabilized the vehicle. Battery-powered hydraulic rescue
tools were used to extricate and remove the occupant from the vehicle. Medical care
was transferred to Emergency Medical Services personnel at 2:15 a.m.
All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries.
