On November 22, 2023, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 7:59
a.m. for a building fire at 54-025 Haukoi Place in Hauula and responded with 10 units
staffed with approximately 35 personnel. The first unit arrived at the scene at 8:04 a.m.
to find smoke and flames emanating from a small, single-story residential structure.
Fire fighters secured a water supply and commenced an offensive fire attack. The fire
was brought under control at 8:14 a.m. and extinguished at 8:35 a.m.

All HFD personnel were accounted for with no reports of injuries.

An investigation has been initiated to determine the fire’s origin and cause and to
provide damage estimates. An update will be sent out once the final investigation report
is complete.
