On February 12, 2024, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 10:05
p.m. for a motor vehicle collision near the intersection of Fort Barrette Road and Kapolei
Parkway in Kapolei and responded with 4 units staffed with 14 personnel.

HFD personnel de-energized and stabilized the vehicle then used battery-powered
hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the occupant. Medical care was transferred to the
Emergency Services Department at 10:31 p.m. HFD personnel secured the scene and
transferred command to the Honolulu Police Department.

All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries.
