UPDATE: The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) Investigator has classified the cause of the fire that occurred on May 25, 2024 at 6004 Kalanianaole Highway in Aina Haina as accidental. The ignition source was electrical wiring that energized a portion of the wood structural members at the point of origin. The damage estimate is $5,000 to the property and $0 to the contents.
