UPDATE: The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) investigator has classified the cause of the fire that occurred on August 4, 2024, at the updated address of 86-431 Halona Road in Waianae, as incendiary. There were multiple points of origin within the interior of the home. The damage estimate for the incident address is $30,000 to the property and $0 to the contents.
