UPDATE: The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) investigator has classified the cause of the fire that occurred on October 10, 2024, at 89-535 Puakolu Street in Nanakuli, as accidental. The ignition source was an improperly discarded cigarette near the entry of an attached storage shed. The damage estimate for the incident address is $250,000 to the property and $10,000 to the contents.
