UPDATE: The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) Investigator has classified the cause of the fire that occurred on November 5, 2024, at the updated address of 3301 East Mānoa Road in Mānoa, as accidental. The point of origin was the water heater which ignited clothing items being stored too close to the appliance. The damage estimate at the incident address is $1,005,000 to the building and 40,000 to its contents.
