CAUSE OF COMMERCIAL BUILDING FIRE IN KALIHI WAS ACCIDENTAL

UPDATE: The Honolulu Fire Department Investigator has classified the cause of the fire that occurred on December 3, 2024, at 1336 Dillingham Boulevard in Kalihi, as accidental. A portable jump pack was determined to be the cause of this fire. The jump pack was plugged in and charging on a table when the failure occurred causing the fire. The damage estimate for the incident address is $250,000 to the building and its contents.
