On January 5, 2025, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 10:17 a.m. for an injured dirt biker behind the Noholoa Community Park area in Mililani and responded with 6 HFD units staffed with approximately 18 personnel. The first unit arrived at the scene at 10:21 a.m., began to gather information, and secured a landing zone to prepare for air operations.
It was reported that a male dirt biker in his 60s fell off a ledge approximately fifteen feet high. Rescue personnel were inserted by Air 1 near the dirt biker’s location and made contact at 10:52 a.m. where they conducted a medical assessment, and prepared the dirt biker for an air extraction. The dirt biker was then safely airlifted to the landing zone where care was transferred to the Honolulu Emergency Services Department at 11:09 a.m.
