On February 28, 2025, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 4:34 p.m. and responded to a building fire, at 67-160 Iliohu Place, with 6 units staffed with 22 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 4:41 p.m. to find a light black smoke from the rear of a two-story residential home.
Fire fighters secured a water supply, commenced an aggressive fire attack and completed a search to confirm no occupants were inside the structure. The fire was brought under control at 4:51 p.m. and fully extinguished at 5:15 p.m.
An investigation has been initiated to determine the fire’s origin and cause as well as to provide damage estimates. The HFD will provide an update when the final investigation report is completed.
