On March 31, 2025, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 10:27 a.m. for a brush fire at 65-670 Kaukonahua Road in Wahiawa and initially responded with three units staffed with nine personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 10:41 a.m. and reported the brush fire was about an acre in size then requested additional resources as they commenced an offensive fire attack.
The fire was declared 100% contained at 12:06 p.m. The HFD stopped the fire before it could endanger any structures or utility poles.
