WAREHOUSE FIRE EXTINGUISHED IN KAPOLEI

On June 2, 2025, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 6:58 p.m. and responded to a building fire at 91-371 Komohana Place with 7 units staffed with 23 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 7:02 p.m. to find smoke coming from the front of a medium-sized warehouse.

Fire fighters secured a water supply, gained access through front doors by forcible entry, and initiated an aggressive fire attack with handlines. A sprinkler activation within the warehouse contributed to the fire control. All searches for occupants resulted in confirming that there was no one in the building. Also, overhaul techniques were performed to look for hidden fire in void spaces to confirm that the fire did not extend into adjacent areas of the warehouse. Fire fighters brought the fire under control at 7:16 p.m. The fire was fully extinguished at 7:31 p.m.
