On July 3, 2025, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 10:55 p.m. and responded to a fire at 99-1178 Halawa Heights Road in Aiea with 9 units staffed with 34 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 11:05 p.m. to find a single-story home involved in fire.

Fire fighters initiated an aggressive fire attack to bring the fire under control at 11:29 p.m. The fire was fully extinguished at 11:58 p.m.

All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries reported.
An investigation has been initiated to determine the fire’s origin and cause as well as to provide damage estimates. An update will be sent out once the final investigation report is complete.
