UPDATE: The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) Investigator has classified the cause of the fire that occurred on July 3, 2025, at 99-1178 Halawa Heights Road in Aiea as accidental. The fire originated in the living room and was created from an electrical arc from an outlet. The damage estimate is $670,000 to the structure and its contents.
