UPDATE: The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) Investigator has classified the cause of the fire that started on August 19, 2025, near 92-1800 Kunia Road, as incendiary. The fire impacted approximately 250 acres of wildland, adjacent to agricultural land parcels. No structures were impacted and no injuries were reported.

The Department of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW) ground units continue to address hot spots and one private air asset continues to focus on water drops throughout the day. The HFD remains on standby if more resources are needed.
