On August 27, 2025, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 10:57 p.m. and responded to a building fire reported at 46-126 Kahuhipa Street in Kaneohe with 6 units staffed with 22 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 11:07 p.m. to find smoke coming from an abandoned warehouse. Fire fighters forced entry into the building and found an active fire which was quickly extinguished at 11:08 p.m.

All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries reported.

An investigation has been initiated to determine the fire’s origin and cause as well as to provide damage estimates. An update will be sent out once the final investigation report is complete.
