On September 25, 2025, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 11:49 p.m. for a building fire at 515 Tinker Road in Waimanalo and responded with 6 units staffed with 22 personnel. The first unit arrived at the entrance to Bellows Air Force Station at 11:54 p.m. to find a small, shed-like structure filled with smoke.

Fire fighters secured a water supply and initiated an aggressive fire attack. The fire was quickly brought under control at 11:57 p.m. and extinguished at 11:59 p.m. All searches for occupants confirmed that no one was inside.

An investigation has been initiated to determine the fire’s origin and cause and to provide damage estimates. An update will be sent out once the final investigation report is complete.
