On November 1, 2025, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 9:17 p.m. and responded to a residential building fire reported at 3414 Salt Lake Boulevard in Aliamanu with 10 units staffed with 38 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 9:23 p.m. to find a fire in a one-story residential structure.
Fire fighters secured a water supply and initiated an offensive fire attack. The fire was brought under control at 9:43 p.m. and fully extinguished at 10:04 p.m. Fire fighters conducted searches within the fire unit, as well as neighboring units, to ensure no one was inside at the time of the fire. The American Red Cross was notified to assist the displaced occupants.
All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries reported.
An investigation has been initiated to determine the fire’s origin and cause and to provide damage estimates. An update will be sent out once the final investigation report is complete.
