ONE OCCUPANTS EXTRICATED FROM A VEHICLE CRASH IN HALEIWA

On November 7, 2025, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 1:36 a.m. and responded to an auto accident reported on Kamehameha Highway near Police Beach in Haleiwa with 5 units staffed with 15 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 1:43 a.m. with the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) already on scene and reported an auto accident involving one vehicle with two occupants. One of the occupants, a male, in his 60s, was still trapped in the vehicle.

HFD personnel stabilized the vehicle, used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the occupant and transferred medical care to the Emergency Medical Services at approximately 2:25 a.m. HFD personnel secured the scene and transferred command to the HPD.

All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries.
