On January 29, 2026, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 12:31 a.m. and responded to an auto accident reported near 41-0427 Kalanianaole Highway with 4 units staffed with 14 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 12:41 a.m. to a single-vehicle accident with one occupant still inside.
HFD personnel stabilized the vehicle and used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the occupant and transferred medical care to Emergency Medical Services at 12:47 a.m. HFD personnel secured the scene and transferred command to the Honolulu Police Department.
All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries.
