ONE OCCUPANT EXTRICATED FROM A VEHICLE CRASH IN WAIPAHU

On February 5, 2026 the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 2:33 p.m. and responded to an auto accident reported near 94-1211 Farrington Highway with 5 units staffed with 15 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 14:41 p.m. to a single vehicle accident with one occupant still inside.

HFD personnel stabilized the vehicle and used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the occupant and transferred medical care to Honolulu Emergency Services Department at 15:40 p.m. HFD personnel secured the scene and transferred command to the HPD.

All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries.
