OCCUPANT EXTRICATED FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION IN HONOLULU

On March 21, 2026 the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 6:53 p.m. and responded to a motor vehicle collision near 1680 Kapiolani Boulevard with 4 units staffed with 15 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 6:58 p.m. to find a single occupant still trapped inside one of the vehicles.

HFD personnel stabilized the vehicle and used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the occupant and transferred medical care to Emergency Medical Services at 7:13 p.m. HFD personnel secured the scene and transferred command to the HPD.

All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries.
