On October 11, 2026, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 3:28 p.m. for an injured motorcyclist at the Kahuku Race Track area and responded with 6 units staffed with 17 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 3:56 p.m. to secure a landing zone nearby to prepare for a search and rescue operation by air.
It was reported that a 59-year-old male was riding his dirt bike with a partner on the Sweating Boar Dirt Bike Trail and fell, experienced an injury to his leg, and could not continue on his own.
