CAUSE OF LARGE RUBBISH FIRE IN AIEA WAS INCENDIARY

UPDATE: The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) Investigator has classified the cause of
the fire that occurred on December 29, 2023 at 98-087 Kamehameha Highway in Aiea
as incendiary. The area of origin was in the lot of a former tire business and the point of
origin was inside a vacant school bus being used as living quarters. The damage
estimate is $0 to the property and $1,550 to the contents.
