ONE OCCUPANT EXTRICATED FROM A VEHICLE CRASH IN AIRPORT AREA

On February 19, 2024, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 10:54
a.m. for a motor vehicle collision on Kamehameha Highway in the Airport area and
responded with four units staffed with 14 personnel.

HFD personnel stabilized the vehicle and used battery-powered hydraulic rescue tools to
extricate the occupant and transferred medical care to the Emergency Services
Department at 11:16 a.m. HFD personnel secured the scene and transferred command
to the Honolulu Police Department.

All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries.
