UPDATE: The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) Investigator has classified the cause of
the fire that occurred on March 11, 2024 at 98-199 Kamehameha Highway, Unit D in
Aiea as accidental. The fire originated from an unattended appliance. The damage
estimate is $20,000 to the property and $5,000 to the contents. The adjacent building
also suffered damages due to the fire.
