On June 30, 2026, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 10:57 a.m. and responded to a building fire reported at 1429 Ala Lonomea Street in Moanalua with 6 units staffed with approximately 22 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 11:07 a.m. and reported smoke and flames from the rear of the residential home.
Fire fighters secured a water supply, commenced an aggressive fire attack and completed a primary and secondary search to confirm no occupants were inside the structure. The fire was brought under control at 11:11 a.m. and fully extinguished at 11:50 a.m.
All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries reported.
An investigation has been initiated to determine the fire’s origin and cause as well as to provide damage estimates. An update will be sent out once the final investigation report is complete.
