On July 8, 2026, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 2:31 a.m. and responded to a commercial building fire reported at 91-444 Komohana Street in Kapolei with 7 units staffed with approximately 23 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 2:35 a.m. and reported smoke and flames emanating from a medium-sized warehouse.
Fire fighters secured a water supply, commenced an aggressive fire attack and completed a primary and secondary search to confirm no occupants were inside the structure. The fire was brought under control at 2:50 a.m. and fully extinguished at 3:55 a.m.
All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries reported.
An investigation has been initiated to determine the fire’s origin and cause as well as to provide damage estimates. An update will be sent out once the final investigation report is complete.
