OCCUPANT EXTRICATED FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION IN PEARL CITY

On July 11, 2026, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 2:15 a.m. and responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Moanalua Road and Ho’omalu Street in Pearl City with 4 units staffed with 14 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 2:20 a.m. to a single-vehicle accident with one occupant still inside.  

HFD personnel stabilized the vehicle and used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the occupant. Medical care for the person involved in the accident was transferred to Honolulu Emergency Services Department at 2:31 a.m. HFD personnel secured the scene and transferred command to the HPD.  

All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries.
