On September 1, 2026, the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) received a 911 call at 11:50 p.m. and responded to a motor vehicle collision reported on the 1900 block of Bingham Street in McCully with 6 units staffed with 24 personnel. The first unit arrived on scene at 11:55 p.m.
It was reported that a vehicle with four passengers was traveling down Bingham Street when they collided with a parked vehicle. HFD personnel stabilized the vehicle and two occupants were able to exit. Hydraulic rescue tools were used to extricate the other two occupants. Medical care for the person involved in the accident was transferred to Honolulu Emergency Services Department. HFD personnel secured the scene and transferred command to the HPD.
All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries.
